Security Trends in Financial Services

You may be interested in a report I read today: Security Trends in Financial Services.sec trend

A few key findings that may be of interest to you, of the surveyed financial organizations:

  • 20% do not use role-based access control -- employee roles such as administrator, user, and guest
  • 37% do not use standardized data classification - sensitive information may be misclassified or not classified at all
  • 22% have not established a formal risk management program- how sensitive data is stored and transmitted across applications, databases, servers, and networks

The report highlights a total of 7 security trends plus recommendations for each area.

Connect OneNote iPad app to Office 365 account

We love OneNote and were so excited about the OneNote iPad app.  We could finally "present" in a Lync meeting and use our iPads to take notes directly into our Notebooks on SharePoint!

After downloading the app though, we couldn't sign in.  We assumed that our Office 365 creditials would work, but we discovered that you need to do the following:
